THE SHORT ANSWER
What to know first
Yes, many families can enjoy the four-hour morning trip. The key questions are the children’s ages, how they feel on boats, current sea conditions and whether the day’s equipment is suitable. Share those details before booking rather than assuming every departure is the same.
Why the morning trip is usually the first choice
The morning trip runs from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Children can try fishing with help, eat a simple meal and take breaks under the covered deck. If the sea is safe and the equipment is available, the trip may also include swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or SUP.
Nothing forces a child to fish for four hours. A private boat gives your group more freedom to pause, eat or relax than a shared trip with strangers.
What we need to know before confirmation
Please include practical details in the request so the captain can assess the trip properly:
- each child’s age
- whether they can swim
- whether anyone is prone to seasickness
- food allergies or dietary needs
- any mobility or medical issue that affects a boat trip
What parents should bring
Bring sun protection, light long sleeves, non-slip footwear, a towel, dry clothes and personal medication. A small familiar snack can help younger children even though a simple meal, fruit, water and ice are included.
If motion sickness is a concern, discuss suitable medication with a pharmacist or doctor before the trip. The crew cannot give personal medical advice on board.
The sea decides the activity plan
Swimming and paddling are never guaranteed. Captain Yod decides whether the sea is safe. If fishing is possible but swimming is not, the trip continues as a fishing trip. If the overall conditions are unsafe, we reschedule or refund according to the written confirmation.
For a nervous first-time child, a calm fishing day with shade and short turns on the rod can be a better goal than trying to fit every activity into four hours.
When to choose something else
A night trip can be tiring for younger children because it ends at 10:00 PM and takes place after dark. It may suit older children who specifically want squid fishing, but the morning trip is the easier default for most families.
If a child strongly dislikes boats, is unwell, or the family cannot stay flexible around weather, a shore-based activity may be a better choice. The right decision is the one that keeps the day comfortable, not simply the one that completes a booking.
